MAY 12, 2007 - Mailorder/New Releases

If you have ordered the Celestial 2xLP and not received it yet, please note all orders have gone out at this point and we are caught up. Contact us if there are any issues. At this time we are SOLD OUT of the record, hopefully only temporarily. There are various distribution outlets and stores that should still have them. Mailorder customers: please note there are going to be some rate changes with the new postal prices, but we are still assessing the changes.

COLLAPSAR are in the final stages mixing their new CD, Integers, which will be off to mastering any day now. Expect an early fall release with mailorder availability in advance of that. Lot's more info on that soon!

Last, we are completely stoked to be releasing the latest CD from Pittsburg's BLUNDERBUSS. You may or may not be familiar with this band- they were active in the mid-90's, releasing a CD Conspiracy on Homestead Records and several singles on various indies. Guitarist/vocalist Ben Matthews is back with Jeff Ellsworth (Don Cabellero/Creta Bourzia) on guitar, Bill Baxter on drums, and Jim Nemeth on bass. Release date TBA.

APR. 6, 2007 - CELESTIAL update

Color sets 3 and 4 are now available to order here. Go nuts...

Mar. 15, 2007 - All not quiet on the EA front...

Time for a lengthy update. For those of you that link directly to this page, we hope you didn't miss the ISIS Celestial vinyl deluge. Lucky for you more copies are coming in shortly, we'll post here as soon as they are available. Click here for more info. By the way we don't usually post news updates on our Myspace site, but since many of you requested, we just may start doing that (as much as we loathe it). PLease note more colors are coming in and we will post the info on those in the coming days, as well as order information. ISIS web site.

Also of note is the hugeESCAPE ARTIST RECORDS MARCH MADNESS BLOWOUT SALE. Info on that can also be found at this link (scroll to the bottom).

COLLAPSAR just began tracking their new record and hopefully we'll hear some new sounds and see some visuals in the coming weeks. Still looking at a mid- to late summer release. COLLAPSAR Myspace page.

UNDER PRESSURE's brilliant 2nd album Come Clean will get a North American release through Escape Artist on May 8th. LIsten to the tracks "Come Clean" and Sick/Sinful. UNDER PRESSURE web site.

THE DREAM IS DEAD recently completed demoing some new material and continue to write aggresively for their next release. THE DREAM IS DEAD Myspace site.

KEN mode are also deep in the writing phase for their next release, and are working on some collaberative material. If you haven't checked out their latest, Reprisal, do yourself a favor and pick it up (while it is on sale)! KEN mode web site.

Lastly, more new releases on the horizon we are pretty excited about. Stay tuned!

Jan. 01, 2007 - Finally some news to report

Though things have been a little slow recently, we have some releases lined up for 2007 that will be announced shortly. Most notably will be some ISIS vinyl represses, starting with Celestial which will be repackaged and available in 2 color sets of around 500 pieces each. One set will be marbled orange/yellow vinyl and the other splatter opaque/clear red. We will have a limited preorder available very soon via our Paypal account. This is not an invte to start ordering. We will post the info on our home page as soon as it is ready to go. We want to facilitate a quick turnaround on the preorders to get them out the door as quickly as possible and we are making preparations now. Additionally they will be available from the band on tour, and also through Lumberjack. Please note we will not be repressing Oceanic- we've passed that on to another label. More ISIS vinyl news soon.

Also of note, Collapsar have finished writing material for their new record will be recording their 2nd full-length in the near future. You can expect instrumental technicality bordering on absurdity with this one. More on that soon.

Last, we're extremely excited to report we'll be releasing the new record from Under Pressure titled Come Clean in North America. If you haven't hears their catchy, old-school hardcore, we urge you to check it out.

Sept. 25, 2006 - 4 months and... here we go

KEN mode will embark on a trek across Canada supporting PELICAN and DAUGHTERS as a part of the EXCLAIM! Magazine Aggressive Tendencies Tour In October. This is sure to be a rager of an event and no doubt KEN mode will leave the great white north spotted with blood droplets from west to east. Their long awaited 2nd CD Reprisal has been making the rounds.

Collapsar are back home writing after a successful jaunt to the northeast and back. expect some new material in the Spring of '07.

Contrary to popular rumors The Dream Is Dead are still alive and kicking and are now sharing a drummer with some band that sounds a lot like Slayer on a label that was once the home to Hallow's Eve and Angkor Wat. Our friend Dustin is no stranger to 2-timing (according to the ladies) as he also pounds the skins for Black Arrows af Filth and Impurity.

More new stuff to announce, and, god willing, some sort of respectable web presence for ourselves.

May. 25, 2006 - KEN mode is upon us... almost.

Winnepeg's KEN mode will finally unleash their sophomore effort, Reprisal 2 months from today. Let's just say it's the noisiest, most crushing, emotive, and visceral record we've had the pleasure to scrape against our eardrums this year. Featuring 11 tracks of total aggro-metal, Reprisal is worth the wait and them some. Check our Myspace sites for tracks, and more goodies here soon on this ass-ugly, craptastic, digital backwash of a website.

Mar. 6, 2006 - MIsc. Updates

Ah... tax season is upon us and what better way to procrastinate then update our shabby website. A few items to report:

KEN MODE are finishing up mixing their 2nd full-length, titled Reprisal. The new material can be described as massive, headsplitting, aggro noise-metal. We'll make up our own genre... why not!? We hope to have some samples up soon. Look for a summer release and lots more info to come!

THE DREAM IS DEAD are busy writing and taking a short break before picking up the tour circuit again. A European tour is being planned for later this year as well as a lot more shows and event/fest appearances to come. Here are a few of them:

Sun. 3-12 Indianapolis, IN @ Melody Inn w/ 45 Grave
Sat. 3-18 Moline, IL @ Kara's Studio w/ a ton of bands
Sun. 3-19 Madison, WI @ The Warehouse w/ Weaving the Deathbag
Sat. 4-29 Athens, OH @ The Union FOR REAL FEST w/ Bones Brigade, tons more
Tue. 5-23 Indianapolis, IN @ The Emerson Theater w/Disfear, Phobia, Misery Index
Sat. 5-27 NC@ FOR THE KIDS FEST w/ The Sword & more

COLLAPSAR is shooting a music video (remember those?) for the track "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla" from their self-titled debut on EA. The visualization of this audio head-trip will be a mind-melder for sure. Hopefully we'll have it available here in the near future. The band is also brain-deep in writing mode for the next record, writing more extended epic spaced-out jams likely to appeal to scientists, mathematicians, and, oh yeah... those who appreciate amazing instrumental rock music. We're challenging the band to write a song less than 3 minutes in length...

Thu. 3-16 Lafayette, LA @ Renaissance w/ Weedeater, Machinist, Wayward
4-1 Lafayette, LA @ Renaissance BENEFIT SHOW
4-21 Lafayette, LA @ Renaissance w/ Flood Memoirs, Hooves

IN PIECES continue to write and rock across the northeast. We love them....

Thu. 3-16 Danbury, CT @ Empress Ballroom
4-7 Bordentown City, NJ @ Hope House Humane

Dec. 14, 2005 - The Dream Is Dead LP

We just received The Dream Is Dead vinyl for Hail the New Pawn and it is stunning! Designed by Bob Peele, the spot varnish really pops (much more so than the CD), and there's a full color dust sleeve that protects the limited edition clear with red spatter wax. One of our best looking releases on LP for sure, just in time for the holiday rush!

Nov. 21, 2005 - Oceanic Vinyl Out of Stock

We have sold out of the latest pressing of ISIS' "Oceanic" 2xLP. Orders as of today will ship but please do not attempt to order it direct from us at this point.

Oct. 21, 2005 - Making Headlines

The DREAM IS DEAD are featured in the latest Issue (no. 70) of Punk Planet. It's on the newsstands now! Also, check out an IN PIECES interview here

The DREAM IS DEAD Hail The New Pawn vinyl will be along shortly. A limited run of 500 on blood splattered clear vinyl will surely come and go, so keep your eyes on this site for more info.

We are almost SOLD OUT of orange and white vinyl for ISIS Oceanic repress. If you didn't get your copy yet, this may be your last chance (at least to skirt the Ebay prices). In other ISIS news, a reissue of the Mosquito Control CD is forthcoming as a digipak with new artwork (similar to the Celestial reissue treatment last year).

And yes, yes, YES! We have been asked a million times... Celestial vinyl will be repressed with all new packaging SOON... but we won't say WHEN. I'm sure we'll do something completely retarded like absurdly limited editions of various colors... sure to whip the collecting public up into a frenzy of unprecedented proportions. As a result I am sure we'll alienate a lot of people. However, we are considering a VERY structured preorder system so all you cats can get what your hearts desire.

Aug. 26, 2005 - R.I.P. Denis D'Amour AKA Piggy

One of the greatest guitarists in metal history was lost today. One can listen to the bulk of our releases and hear this man's profound influence. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. (voivod.com)

Aug. 19, 2005 - Collapsar welcomes new guitarist

Collapsar would like to welcome guitarist Adam Harris to the fold. Adam, formerly of the tech-metal band Moxie has been brought in to replace Dave Graeff, who recently joined The Object at the End of The Universe as a full-time guitarist. Drummer Brett Judice comments: "we are very satisfied with Adam's enthusiasm, as well as his progress with learning the songs. He seems really focused and dedicated and that's exactly what we're looking for." Hot off the heels of an appearance at Midwest Music Summit and coinciding tour, Collapsar is hard at work on writing material for a new record and have completed 2 10-minute epic tracks that further the band's sonic trajectories. As usual, fans can expect no less than total musical derailment.

More accolades for HARVEY MILK... and you don't own it yet?

Mar. 7th, 2005

All you bozos buying the final Mosquito Control 12-inch pressing on Ebay for 20 bucks a pop ought to look into Garment District, Relapse, Very, Lumberjack, and a few other distros. Just becasue we are sold out doesn't mean everyone else is! Duh...

The Dream Is Dead have completed work on Hail The New Pawn, their first long-player. Let me tell you folks, this is going to be one of the most crushing hardcore records of of 2005. We're still frothing at the mouth here at EA central over the brilliant production by Alex Newport and the stellar songs that sound refreshingly unlike the cookie cutter fashion plate medio-core that has all the impressionable kids out there in a tiz. If you fancy the like of His Hero is Gone, Napalm Death, and early Voivod (us old folk will remember)... you will soil yourself over this.... trust us. Song clips to come soon!!!!

The folks over at Aversion Online had some kind words to say about Harvey Milk and American Heritage. Finally, someone who has a clue! We suggest you read this site religiously and stop fawning over those other so called webzines that love to avoid us!
